WHY DZ?
This is our favorite question!! Read more to find out why DZ!!
"While going through the recruitment process as a PNM, one aspect of Greek life that excited me most was the meaningful connections I saw between the girls I was talking to. After becoming a sister of Delta Zeta, I was experiencing and building these bonds that I admired and looked up to and understood what being part of a sisterhood truly meant. Becoming Sisterhood Chair has given me the opportunity to help foster these bonds within our chapter, planning fun activities that will create memories for life, and simply allow us to enjoy each others company :)"

Sister Annabel O'Donnell's Love Letter to her Pledge Class:
"To my girls, my Gamma Alphas,
I can’t even put into words how much love I have for the 25 of you. It has been such a blessing making the memories we have together and being able to not only call you guys my best friends, but my sisters. When I went into recruitment I had no idea what I was getting into or the kinds of people I would meet. Now knowing I met the most caring, kind, funny, and beautiful group of girls, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Delta Zeta has shown all of us a true family and I cannot wait to build more on that together throughout the years. Looking back at the pictures from the first day we all met, it was clearly inevitable that our pc was meant to be us. I love you Alphas❤️"

"Coming into college at the age of 17, I wasn't really sure who I was, but one thing I did know was the woman I aspired to one day be. Beginning your college experience and starting your future comes with so many unknowns and so much uncertainty. However, I can assure you as a graduating senior, that the experience brings you so much growth, so much joy, and so much love. As I look back at my now almost completed four years of college, I can recognize how much change I have experienced in what feels like a short period of time. More importantly, I can recognize what has stayed consistent... my hopes to find the best version of myself and the people who continue to give me a reason everyday. I will forever be indebted to Delta Zeta for leading me to the girls who I spend every breathing moment with and I can never get bored of. It's easy to say you love your sorority, but it's not easy to say you didn't have to change a single thing about yourself to be loved so unconditionally."

Sister Alessia Contuzzi's Love Letter to her Pledge Class:
“To my Beta Omegas,
I’d just like to start with the obvious: as you all know me, I typically would just say some random jokes or break out in crazy dances to make you all laugh, so it is rare that I am serious around you guys. How can you blame me? You are the most fun and funny girls I know. With that being said, bear with me while I try to explain how much you 34 girls mean to me and how you have changed my life. From the first day we met, I was so excited to get to know each one of you. I will always remember the sweet and welcoming smiles I saw when I looked around the room that day. I was eager to see who lived close to me at home, who shared the same major or favorite color as me, or who would laugh and cry with me; I never felt so safe in a room of people I barely knew. As we spent more time together, I realized that you girls were meant to be in my life. You became my home away from home, my rocks, and my best friends so quickly. Whether passing each other on campus, sitting in class, getting food, or going shopping, I always got, and still get, so happy seeing each of you. Through thick and thin, I know I can always count on any of you. Delta Zeta and you all, my beautiful Beta Omegas, have given me everything and more; you all have helped me grow and continue to push me to do my best each in your own special ways and for that, I am forever thankful. I cherish all of the time we spend together, the moments we share, and the sisterhood that we have. I’ll always be here to make you all laugh and try my hardest to give you all half of what you gave me. Here’s to so many more laughs, love, and memories together. Its not four years, its for life. I love you all so very much.
Love,
Alessia”
